As part of our ongoing efforts to curb the spread of Mpox, our MOH national rapid response team are already on the ground working tirelessly to strengthen our response to the Mpox outbreak in The Gambia. This collaborative approach brings together a diverse range of experts including Clinicians, public health experts, Civil Society Organizations, WHO, UNICEF, Africa CDC, the Security, PURA, the media and other important stakeholders, each playing a crucial role in our comprehensive strategy.
Together with these partners, we are implementing targeted interventions to educate communities about Mpox, promote preventive measures, and enhance surveillance systems. Our stakeholders, both within and outside the Ministry of Health, are committed to ensuring the MPOX outbreak is contained.
